IMPORTANT NOTE: Included along with this letter must be a proof of address. Copy a phone bill, utility bill, billing statement from any major creditor, etc. It must be a copy of something with your name and current address. They will need a copy of the front of your Social Security card.
Send any letter “certified and return receipt mail”. This is available through your local Post Office. Once you have copies of your report, you may continue to the next section: removing negative information from your credit file.
